Cognitive fluency a measure of how easy it is to think about something.
- High cognitive fluency is increased by clearer fonts, repetition and rhyme. These give the user a sensation of the familiar, the trusted, the easy-to-be-believed and stability.
- Whereas low cognitive fluency or “disfluency” can be interpreted by the user as being innovative and lead to more abstract and careful thinking.
